AUSTIN, Texas — Run For The Water 2026 has officially unveiled its 20th anniversary logo as the Austin-based charity race prepares to celebrate two decades of miles that matter.
In a meaningful full-circle moment, organizers returned to the original designer behind the race’s early visual identity to help create the commemorative anniversary mark — a tribute to the legacy, community, and impact built over the past 20 years.
The new logo celebrates a race that has grown from a local Austin event into a global movement supporting the Gazelle Foundation’s mission of designing, building, and funding sustainable clean water systems in Burundi.
“For 20 years, this community has shown up with purpose,” said founder Gilbert Tuhabonye. “This anniversary is about the people who have carried the mission forward — runners, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters who helped turn miles into lasting impact.”
Since its founding, Run For The Water has connected endurance with compassion, bringing together runners of all levels through a shared mission to help expand access to clean water for communities in Burundi.
The 20th anniversary race weekend takes place Sunday, November 8, 2026, in downtown Austin and includes a 10-Miler, 5K, Kids K, and Global Run virtual option for participants around the world.
The anniversary branding will appear throughout the 2026 race experience, including participant gear, race signage, community events, and storytelling campaigns leading up to race day.
